KJEL/Waynesville-Lebanon, MO, Raises Money For Salvation Army

ALPHA MEDIA WAYNESVILLE-LEBANON, MO Country KJEL raised $1,145 for the local SALVATION ARMY during a six-hour pledge drive.

GOOD WILL WEDNESDAY, an on-air bell ringing campaign was hosted by KJEL News Director PATTY BURNS, who welcomed representatives from the SALVATION ARMY's LEBANON office.

Listeners were encouraged to call in to the radio station and pledge funds that will be used to feed the hungry and provide assistance to those who have fallen on hard times. 

Commented BURNS, “This wonderful agency is providing a month’s worth of food for close to 2,000 people. I'm very proud of our listeners who supported this effort. The money raised will allow the SALVATION ARMY to purchase 250 cases of canned vegetables.”
