iHEARTMEDIA Country WMSI (MISS 103)/JACKSON afternoon co-host RICK ADAMS has departed after more than three decades with the station.
ADAMS, who celebrated his 30th anniversary with MISS 103 last AUGUST, wrote on FACEBOOK yesterday (4/17), “As the KENNY CHESNEY song goes, ‘Everything’s Gonna Be Alright’ … I am profoundly grateful and thankful to each of you during my 30 years at MISS 103/iHEARTMEDIA, acompany that believed in me since August of 1988 till today. And what an incredible three decades it’s been. Please keep supporting my buddy and best friend, [afternoon co-host] KIM ALLEN, as she moves forward with her amazing career in radio. God has opened so many doors and opportunities for me in my life and I know more will be opening soon. Thank you for being a part of the RICK and KIM support group through the years.”
He and ALLEN had done mornings at the station until the syndicated "BOBBY BONES SHOW" joined the lineup in 2015 (NET NEWS 1/7/15).
ADAMS plans to embark on a new career in real estate with RE/MAX ALLIANCE. He also serves as a board member at AMERICAN RED CROSS OF MISSISSIPPI. Reach him here.
