iHEARTMEDIA Country WNOE/NEW ORLEANS PD ASHLEY WILSON has been promoted to Dir./Country Programming for the company's KENTUCKY/INDIANA region, effective MONDAY, JULY 22nd. WILSON will oversee programming for the region’s five Country stations, including WAMZ/LOUISVILLE and WBUL/LEXINGTON, and report to Regional SVP/Programming and iHEARTCOUNTRY brand coordinator MICHAEL JORDAN. She will be based out of LOUISVILLE.
WILSON succeeds JAY CRUZE, who was promoted to Country PD for the company’s National Programming Group earlier this month (NET NEWS 6/14).
“ASHLEY is becoming a leader in her field, and we are fortunate to bring her to our region,” said JORDAN. “She brings a lot to the table and will be a valuable asset to our team.”

Prior to joining WNOE in 2017, WILSON was APD/MD at RENDA WGNE/JACKSONVILLE, FL. Prior to that, she was MD/midday host at BEASLEY WKML/FAYETTEVILLE, NC and spent eight years with CURTIS MEDIA WMMY/BOONE, NC.
