Radio veteran TOMMY “CEE” CARRERA has accepted a production specialist job with iHEARTMEDIA’s TOTAL TRAFFIC & WEATHER NETWORK, effective on or about MONDAY, JULY 1st.
CARERRA most recently was with ALPHA MEDIA/PALM SPRINGS, CA, where he had been PD/afternoons for Country KDES (98.5 THE BULL) and PD of Classic Hits KDGL (106.9 THE EAGLE). Prior to joining ALPHA in 2015, CARRERA did mornings on Country KFRG (K-FROG)/RIVERSIDE, CA and was PD for ALBUQUERQUE stations KKRG and KBQI, and well as KNEV/RENO.
In a FACEBOOK post yesterday (6/13), CARERRA wrote, “I am joining the amazing production team headed up by MICHAEL MICHONSKI. This is a full-time job from my own studio!#DreamComeTrue.” He added, “I will continue to do awesome side projects from filling in at stations to DJing events, while voicing and producing commercials.”
