Mississippi FM Changes Hands, And Another College Sells Its FM Station

VALLEYDALE BROADCASTING, LLC is selling Country WONA-F (95.1 THE HAWG)/VAIDEN, MS to SHARON P. KENT and SUSAN P. BENNING's SOUTHERN ELECTRONICS CO., INC. for $124,826 in a promissory note plus a security agreement for the proceeds from any sale of the buyer's Country WLEE (95.1 THE FARM)/SHERMAN-TUPELO, MS.

In other filings with the FCC, BUCKNELL UNIVERSITY is selling noncommercial Variety WVBU-F/LEWISBURG, PA to NORTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION ASSOCIATION, licensee of PBS affiliate WVIA-TV and noncommercial News-Talk WVIA-F/SCRANTON-WILKES-BARRE, for $17,600 plus reimbursements of up to $17,500 in legal fees.

Applying for STAs were TOWNSQUARE MEDIA ROCHESTER LICENSE, LLC (KROC-F/ROCHESTER, MN, reduced power due to issues with transmission line and antenna); CUMULUS LICENSING LLC (WKAK/ALBANY, GA, reduced power due to transmitter problems; WRWM-A/CONWAY, SC, reduced daytime power due to failed power modules).

Requesting extensions of Silent STAs were FAMILY STATIONS, INC. (K268AJ/REDDING, CA, still off the air due to wildfires) and CALVARY CHAPEL OF RUSSELL (WGIP /TIDOUTE, PA, still negotiating terms of lease at new site).

And WALKING BY FAITH MINISTRIES, INC. has closed on the sale of Gospel WAML-A and W236DD/COLLINS, MS and Gospel WMLC-A/MONTICELLO, MS to TILLMAN BROADCASTING NETWORK, INC. for $95,000.
