The UNIVERSITY OF EVANSVILLE is selling noncommercial Jazz/Variety WUEV/EVANSVILLE, IN to WAY-FM MEDIA GROUP for an undisclosed price, the school has announced. PATRICK COMMUNICATIONS served as broker for the deal. The sale brings to an end a several-years-long drama over the sale of the student-run station, which went on the air in 1951 and for which an outside offer was rejected in 2006 after a student and community outcry.
